Gordon Cousins

I've been feeling kind of lop-sided in my scrapping lately. I've been scrapping a lot about my cousins on the Fenstermacher side- and not so much about the Gordon side (ok- not at all!).

Mom says "We always KNEW you were a Fenstermacher- so it is just natural for you." Plus- the Fenster cousins have had the odd... odds... of being together multiple times this summer. 

I am embarrassed to say that I haven't seen my Gordon cousins since Zach and Jules b-day party on July 4th!

So- I gathered up some photos of the Gordon's and put them on a page!

First- we have Sean, and his wife Jocelyn and their lovely little family with daughter, Adah.

And next is all 6 of us. Oldest to youngest: Doreen, Sean, Robin, Sandy, Zachary, Juliana.

The pic of Doreen and Sean is from my wedding. The pic of me and Sandy is from our trip to Germany and I used the "kids" (Zach and Jules') school pics from last year.

I gotta share the *scrappy* love equally!

P.S.- How could I have miss-spelled GORDON.... 

too much right brain and not enough left brain I suppose.

Creative Weekend

I had a very creative weekend! I finished my Heritage layout- previously posted. 

This LO is about my twelve cousins (Fenstermacher side). They all stayed overnight on our living room floor last weekend!

The second is about my pseudo cousin- Gabrielle. She is Bryan's Cousins daughter. So- my Second Cousin in-law!! She is just the sweetest 1 year old EVER! We had a fun overnight stay celebrating at Andy and Sarah's lake house in up-state PA a couple weekends ago. Don't worry! I fixed the spelling of her name after I took the picture!

And lastly but not leastly.... I started and finished my recipe cards for the MLPA Potluck recipe swap! HORAY!

Back to the grind tomorrow...

Heritage

This is my most recent layout. It felt so good to scrap in my little scrap space again. I just love it up there!

I did a lot of research and actually completed a full family tree before making this layout. Genealogy is so interesting!!

Cousins

We had a family reunion over the weekend. Yes- in a park pavillion during Tropical Storm Hannah!

I think this is the VERY first time that ALL of my 1st cousins have been in the same place at the same time since Sandy and I have been Married. 

After the reunion the cousins slept over at our house! I don't think we could have squeezed one more person on the living room floor! I have 12 cousins. There are 14 of us including spouses! I am the oldest (almost 25)- and the youngest (the twins)  are 13. 

I was happy that Bryan and I slept upstairs in our bed- and Sandy and Joel didn't stay over.

But it was awesome being all together!

I'm being published!

Well- I have been chosen for publication for the VERY first time today! I am so elated! A certain LO about my Guinea Pigs was chosen... I can not share it here because I will be under contract, but you might remember it if you know me.

So I thought this will mark the moment when I will start a blog... hubby "woo hooed" for me... but then announced he was going to Home Depot and left.

So- I will use this blog to toot my horn, tell about my life and share my scrapbook pages.
